On our journey to Hazeltine, we will hear from captains Davis Love III and Darren Clarke, as well as sports psychologist Bob Rotella, on what potential looks like and what it takes to realise it.

Psychology is another area that has grown in importance in sports. Bob Rotella, golf teacher and sports psychologist, has worked with many of the game’s leading players on mental preparation.

Rotella believes that in golf the real enemy is not your opponent but yourself, and that by taking care of yourself you can deliver on your potential under extreme pressure.

Internationally known for his work in the area of applied sport psychology, Dr Bob Rotella is the top Sport Psychologist in the world. His book Golf is Not a Game of Perfect is the best-selling sport psychology book of all time.

Since 1984, Dr Bob has coached the winners of more than 74 major championships in men's, women's and senior professional golf. His golfers on the PGA Tour are proven winners, including Ryder Cup 2016 Captains Darren Clarke and Davis Love III.

As a golf teacher, Bob has been named as one of the top 10 golf teachers of the 20th century. He’s also directed the leading graduate golf program in the country for 20 years at the University of Virginia.

Bob has dedicated is life to helping coaches, athletes, business leaders, and salespeople use their minds and emotions to take them to the top of their chosen professions.

We’re honoured to have Dr Bob on our board of Ryder Cup 2016 Ambassadors. His experience will provide an enlightening view into how the players can realise their full potential.
