Standard Life Investments Announces Smaller Companies Appointment

Standard Life Investments, the global investment manager, today announced the appointment of Andrew Paisley to its Smaller Companies team. Reporting to Harry Nimmo, Head of Smaller Companies, Andrew will be responsible for the management of Standard Life Investments European Smaller Companies Funds which includes the Standard Life Investments’ European Smaller Companies SICAV which invests across Europe including the UK.

Andrew joins the company as one of five Investment Directors in Standard Life Investments’ Smaller Companies team*. Andrew’s previous roles include five years (2006 to 2011) as Senior Investment Manager within the Kempen Capital Management Pan-European Smaller Companies Team, where he managed the Kempen Sense Fund NV. More recently he was Investment Director, UK Smaller Companies at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership. Andrew is also a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Standard Life Investments’ European Smaller Companies SICAV is top quartile over three, four and five years . The SICAV has returned 90.1% to investors versus its benchmark of 35.85% since its launch in September 2007.
