MyFolio – going for gold

19  November  2012

Global investment manager, Standard Life Investments today announced that 15 funds within its sought-after MyFolio range have been awarded a Gold grading from Standard and Poor's (S&P). This comes just over two years since the launch of the Fund range which has already reached £2bn assets under management.

S&P have assigned a Gold grading to the funds in recognition of the strong start made by the Fund range which aims to provide both advisers and investors with investment solutions aligned to specific levels of risk requirement.

Bambos Hambi, Head of Fund of Funds management at Standard Life Investments said about the new gradings;

“We are delighted that the MyFolio funds have been awarded a Gold grading from S&P so soon after launch, it represents a significant achievement for the whole team at Standard Life Investments. The new grading is testament to the team's consistent approach to fund selection, investment process and risk management.

“The Gold grading recognises the innovative design of the MyFolio fund range and the potential of the risk-rated funds to cater for a wide range of client goals in the post-RDR environment and beyond. Standard Life Investments now has one of the largest and most experienced Multi Manager Research teams in the industry – reflecting our commitment to, and investor interest in, the whole range. I am confident that this will continue to be a winning combination for investors and Standard Life Investments in the years ahead.”
