Standard Life Investments SICAV range now available on Frankfurter Fondsbank platform in Germany

Standard Life Investments, the global fund manager, today announced that German investors will be able to gain access to the company's entire Luxembourg-domiciled SICAV fund range (see notes to editors) via Frankfurter Fondsbank's* broker platform in Germany.

Sub funds in the SICAV range include the Global REIT Focus Fund, the Global Equity Fund, the China Equity Fund, the Eurozone Equity Fund, the European Corporate Bond Fund and the European High Yield Bond Fund. Other equity funds in the range include the Asian Equity Fund, the European Equity Fund, the Japanese Equity Fund and the US Equity Fund.

The other bond funds in the range are the Euro Government Bond Fund, the Euro Inflation Linked Bond Fund, the Global Bond Fund, the Global Inflation Linked Bond Fund, the European Extended Duration Fund and the European Government All Stocks Fund.

Standard Life Investments' SICAV fund range will be available to brokers in Germany via the Frankfurter Fondsbank with immediate effect.

In February, Standard Life Investments announced that six funds* from its Luxembourg-domiciled SICAV fund range had been added to Fidelity's FundsNetwork™ platform in Germany.

Phil Barker, Head of European Business Development, Standard Life Investments, said:

"Frankfurter Fondsbank provides brokers with one of the premier fund administration platforms in Germany, so we're naturally delighted that our entire range of SICAV funds is now available via this portal. Given the size, coverage, influence and market position of Frankfurter Fondsbank, this agreement will help develop our brand in Germany by providing investors with access to the full breadth of our products offering and the scope of our investment expertise."

"This announcement follows quickly on from our recent agreements with Nordea in the Noridc and Baltic Sea region and Fidelity in Germany, and is very much in line with our focus on developing strong strategic alliances with leading players in Germany and across Europe."

In April of this year, Standard Life Investments signed an agreement with Nordea, one of the Nordic and Baltic regions largest financial groups, to distribute its Global REIT Focus Fund across the Nordic and Baltic Sea region. In October 2007, Standard Life Investments also announced that it had signed an agreement with Aktia, the Finnish Savings Bank, to distribute its Global REIT Focus Fund in Finland.

*Frankfurter Fondsbank is one of the market leaders in providing fund access and administration to brokers in Germany.
