Voting disclosure
Our approach to disclosure
Below you will find information on our UK and European voting records. We intend to report on our voting in other jurisdictions in due course.
Where we have lent out stock to third parties, we aim to recall it for all shareholder meetings at which we vote our clients' shares.
You will see that our voting records show where we decided to vote against or abstain on a particular resolution. Where we have not supported a board's recommendations, a brief explanation is included. We make disclosures monthly, three months in arrears. Our latest monthly update covers votes to the end of February 2012.
We publish our voting records in this way to be open and accountable to our clients and to meet industry best-practice standards.
